Frisco is one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas. It is a booming suburb that was ranked 7th in America as Best Places to Move by Forbes in 2011. It was also ranked the #1 Best Place to Live in America, according to Money. It’s not just an awesome city by ranking, it has so much to offer for families and sports fans alike.
Sports
The Dallas Cowboys relocated their world corporate headquarters and training facility to Frisco in 2016. Men’s Journal even named Frisco the Top Place to Raise an Athlete. Frisco Independent School District even established a partnership with the Cowboys so that when the Cowboys are not using The Star, high school teams can us it for practice and games. And while we’re on the topic of The Star, its only a state of the art 12,000 seat indoor stadium, while on its complex houses retail stores and restaurants. Talk about a one stop shop.
Jobs
If sports aren’t your thing, then I’m sure jobs are important to you. Minutes from the brand new Toyota located in Plano and a short drive to Warren Buffets newest project, Grandscape in The Colony the job options are endless. Firms are moving to provide jobs where houses are affordable and people are moving to jobs where the cost of living is not high; making Frisco the sweet spot for corporate offices. Frisco is a true commuter town, because most residents commute to work all over the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex. However, there are plenty of job opportunities just minutes away.
Schools
If you have a growing family, Frisco should be at the top of your list. Most couples with children move to the area strictly for the schools and the family friendly environment. Frisco Independent School District has a 98% high school graduation rate, 15-1 student teacher ratio, and above average test scores. Most families that live in the suburbs can afford private school but send there children to the public schools because of their exemplary status.
All in all, Frisco has become one of the most sought after upscale suburbs in North Texas. Continuously growing and ever thriving.
